Over at Kilani's blog she started the Aloha Friday, in honor of in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So she thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. I thought this is a great idea so therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Today I woke up to the pitter patter of rain on my roof and I felt a sense of relaxation come over me. I actually like rainy days. I can't really explain why but I like the warmth of a cozy home. I know I am not going to like going out today in the rain juggling a baby and all - but still I am happy with a rainy day today.
So this is my question to you...
Do you like rainy days?
I have a feeling that when Lyla gets older rainy days will be less desirable because then it means a child that is unable to get outside for the day. But right now, I will have my cup of tea and enjoy the pitter patter of rain drops.
Hope every has a great Friday!
I do like them because most days it's bright and sunny. Rainy days are a good break for us!
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly! It's nice to "meet" you too! (I'm the other mom from Michigan)
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy rainy days, just as long as they are far and few between. If we have to many rainy days in a row, then I start disliking them.
Yes, but I don't like torrential downpour days! Those are big bummers!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIf it was only once a week or so. To much rain is very depressing.
ReplyDeleteI love rainy days...especially those with thunderstorms.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of the rain (snow, wind, or hail either.) I like it when its nice and sunny and around 75 degrees.
ReplyDeleteI love rainy days, unfortunately we usually get snow, even in random times of the year (like 4th of July!)

No, rain makes me SO sleepy and makes my knees hurt! LOL
ReplyDeleteYes, because the clouds roll over the mountain we live on & it is just an awe inspiring sight. Plus we need the rain so very badly here in the desert.
ReplyDeleteonly if i don't have to go outside! if i can stay in bed and sleep in, absolutely
ReplyDeleteNot really, although I prefer them over snow and ice :)
ReplyDeleteI only like rainy days if I don't have to go anywhere! :)
ReplyDeleteI used to dislike rainy days because my husband would lose a days pay each time it rained. Hard to budget on. His job is different now and as long as I don't have to go out in it and stay in with a fire going in the fireplace, I love them. Too bad it was all about the money. California always needs the rain it gets. Have a wonderful weekend Kelly.
ReplyDeleteLove and Hugs, Laurie
I like an occasional rainy day, if they go on for days is gets to be too much!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE rainy days...they are some of my favorites! It is nice to meet you, this is my first visit to your blog and my first Aloha Friday
ReplyDeleteNO I don't. They make me sleepy and I have zero energy.
ReplyDeleteI work outside, so I guess I really hate rainy days, it makes my job harder!
