Aloha Friday
Over at Kilani's blog she started the Aloha Friday, in honor of in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So she thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. I thought this is a great idea so therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
This past week we went to our accountant and got our taxes assessed. This year we are getting a return! Yippee!!
So this is my question to you -
If you get money from your taxes; what do you plan to do with it ? Do you plan a trip with the 'extra' money? Do you do home improvements? Do you put it in savings?"
Our money is going to go towards home improvements. Namely our roof. Thanks to our friend Raccoon who took up residence in our roof a couple of weeks ago- we are starting to prepare for the roof to be redone. Then the rest will go towards savings... Nothing too extravagent but it feels nice to not have to dip into savings for our roof.
Hope you all have a great Friday! Aloha!!

We are saving most of it. Some will be used for our upcoming vacation!
so sad :C we get no money back
We already got our money...I wanted a new bedroom suite and the hubby wanted a new tv. We now have a new 46" LCD TV in my living room.
We usually throw it in savings. BUT my car will be paid off if we use it for that...so we are! That way when something happens to hubby's truck(its on its last wheel) then we can go ahead and get something and not have TWO payments!
we paid off some bills, put some in savings, and made a couple small updates to our home :)
Money came today, we're paying off all our extra bills! YAY!
We used ours to pay some bills. We still have about 1/2 of it left. We're just saving it I guess.
Bills and home improvements!
Savings! We like to that little cushion.
Assuming we get a refund (waiting to find out now), it will go toward our trip to Disney World. If there is anything left it will be used for home repairs that are needed after the ice issues this winter.
our taxes aren't done (i know, we're slackers) so i have no idea if there's money coming our way. we usually save it though.
I was just thinking of calling today and getting the numbers from the accountant. I will next week. You know what we did...new roof!
We actually threw all of ours on our house as our goal this year is to get our house paid off!
