Today is our 5 year anniversary. It was the best day of my life when I stood and said my vows to my love Ryan. 5 years have quickly slipped by and now we are in an entirely different spot, a life as parents, a life as a family.
Ryan and I were watching our wedding video last night and today, and we said how we both find it hard to imagine our lives without Lyla in them. We did live 4 and a half wonderful years without her, with many travels and adventures, but the adventure of being a parent and sharing that with Ryan is so much more meaningful and continues to bring us daily joy.

Ryan and I decided not to exchange gifts, and Ryan did not do so and gave me a really cool gift. It is a picture frame with 5 different photos in it, and Ryan put a photo from each anniversary. It is really neat to look back upon the years.
He also gave me some beautiful "passion roses". We came downstairs today and I could smell their beautiful fragrance, I am looking forward seeing them bloom. Lyla likes to look at them as well, we will all enjoy them.
Happy 5 year anniversary Ry! You continue to make my life complete and I am so happy to be walking down this path of life together.
