Aloha Friday
Over at Kilani's blog she started the Aloha friday, in honor of in Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that they take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So she thought that on Fridays she would take it easy on posting, too. I thought this is a great idea so therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.
Today's question is:
How do you get your infant's to nap when they don't want to nap?
Hope everyone has a great Aloha Friday!

Let them cry it out until they are exhausted and fall asleep.
I cannot help. All mine were excellent nappers.
When my grandson was a baby I used to sing softly and he would go to sleep.
They either napped or didn't-here is an idea.
2.Put them in their car seat on top of the dryer & turned it on.
(infants only) after they fall asleep
remove them from dryer, but not car seat. Good luck!
Now that is an age-old question! My kids are older now (12 and 18), but my daughter didn't sleep until she was about 4 years old...literally! It was awful. We tried everything in the book. I constantly said to myself, "She's got to pass out at some point"...and she didn't.
The only time she would sleep was on my husband's chest when he was home. It was a huge relief for me.
I wish I had some words of wisdom for you, but I've got nothing...zilch...nada Sorry!

Oh, I'm following you on Blogger now : )
Depends on the situation.. sometimes I let my daughter cry.. if not.. I try and see what else is wrong.. Sometimes me just getting her out of her crib..hugging her..and giving her a drink, checking her diaper.. changes everything. Babies are funny though.. they all have their own way of doing things.
I was lucky that my girls were really good sleepers. Otherwise, I would probably try and let them cry it out. However, it's so hard to hear them so unhappy!
